Leadership

K-12 leadership and district strategy

Joshua A. McDowell, Ed.D.

Josh’s career spans classroom teaching, district administration, and superintendent leadership. He has served as Superintendent of Crete Public Schools and previously as Chief Academic Officer and Chief Transformation Officer for Grand Island Public Schools. His work centers on making public education more relevant, intentional, and effective for students, families, and communities.

Josh earned a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in Educational Administration from Doane College, and a Doctorate of Education in Interdisciplinary Leadership from Creighton University.

Software, implementation, and operations

Mikael J. Magnuson

Mikael has developed software for school districts, the Department of Defense, and private industry, including web applications, Android applications, and server systems. His background also includes Army National Guard leadership, strategic planning, and operational execution.

Mikael earned a degree in Psychology from Colorado State University and a degree in Computer Science from Oregon State University. At Guna, he translates district requirements into software decisions and stays involved through testing, launch, and iteration.
